ROPS or Roll Over Protection Systems is a protective structure designed to protect a vehicle’s occupants from injuries or death caused by vehicle which overturns or rolls during an accident.
Transerve-JHT roll cages are often specified for minibus personnel transport vehicles intended for use in mining, construction and forestry environments.
Our ROPS Roll cage systems for these vehicles are over designed and fit unobtrusively into a vehicle’s interior.
Our roll cages are constructed from 57mm or 63mm structural round tube which is covered with foam padding, coloured to blend into a vehicle’s interior.
Although roll cages fitted to interiors of mini buses do impinge slightly on tall occupant’s head room, the additional peace of mind and real life protection offered by these systems in the event of an accident more than offset any temporary discomfort that may be felt.
